Stripe is the payment processor that securely processes all rent payments on Baselane. This includes collecting payment details, processing transactions, and transferring rent payments to the Landlord's designated bank account (Baselane banking or external account).

Stripe operates independently from Baselane and applies its own verification checks and security protocols when handling payments.

How Rent Payments Are Processed in Baselane

When a tenant submits a rent payment on their Tenant portal: 

• The payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Stripe verifies and processes the transaction
• Rent payments are then transferred to your selected receiving bank account based on processing timelines

Baselane provides the platform for managing rent collection, tracking, and disbursement. Baselane does not process payments directly. We use Stripe to process all rent payments on Baselane.
