With Baselane’s Reports and Analytics, you can easily access powerful financial and lease reports to track the performance of your real estate portfolio — giving you a clear view of income and expenses, rent collection, and property profitability.
All reports are organized in the Reports drop-down menu within the Reporting tab of your dashboard. From there, you can quickly select and download any preset report listed below. All reports include flexible filters by property and time period, and reports are downloadable in CSV format for your records or deeper analysis.
You can also view reports in chart or table format. The table view makes it easy to compare multiple properties side by side — helping you analyze trends, spot opportunities, and manage performance across your entire portfolio.
You can generate the following reports:

Net Operating Income (NOI)
- Shows your rental income minus operating expenses — commonly used as a Profit & Loss (P&L) view of property performance.

Net Operating Cashflow
- Tracks your actual cash in and out — including loan payments — to help manage cashflow across properties.

Total Inflows & Outflows
- Provides a complete record of all money flowing into and out of your accounts — ideal for reconciling balances.

Schedule E
- Organizes your income and expenses in IRS Schedule E format — used for tax reporting and year-end preparation.

Tenant Ledger
- A detailed history of tenant charges, payments, and balances — organized by property and tenant for tracking rent and fees.

Rent Roll
- Summarizes active leases and key unit-level details — provides an overview of occupancy, rent amounts, and lease terms.

Rent Roll
The Rent Roll report provides a snapshot of active leases by property and unit, including lease duration, rent amounts, fees, and balances. You can filter by property or unit and select an "as of" date (such as today, end of last month, end of last year, and more) to view current leasing details across your portfolio.
