How to Send an ACH Transfer to a Connected External Bank Account?

  • Updated

You can transfer funds from your Baselane Checking account to either a connected external bank account or a manually added external bank account. This article outlines how to send an outbound ACH transfer and what to expect when moving money between accounts.

In this article, we will cover

Requirements for ACH Transfers

You can send ACH transfers from any Baselane Checking account to two types of external accounts:

  • A connected external bank account (connected via Plaid)

  • A manually added external bank account (added using routing and account numbers)

However, only connected external accounts can be used to fund your Baselane account. A manually added external account cannot transfer money into Baselane; it can only receive transfers from Baselane.

All outbound ACH transfers must be sent from a Baselane Checking account to an external account. Savings accounts cannot send or receive ACH transfers.

ACH Transfer Limits

ACH withdrawal (outgoing) limits depend on your checking tier:

Tier Daily Limit Monthly Limit
Standard Checking Tier $25,000/day $100,000/month
High Checking Tier $50,000/day $100,000/month
