How do I add my property financials?

Adding and keeping track of your property financial data is simple on Baselane.

1. On the Properties page under each property, you can select the ‘Details’ button, which opens the right slide-out menu.

2. In the tab ‘Property Financials’, you can provide the key financial information across purchase price, current market value, and mortgage details.

3. To update market value and mortgage balance, click the ‘Edit’ button, which will open a separate table for you to enter the most recent values. For market value, we integrate with Zillow to show the current Zillow estimate of market value, which you can use to guide your inputs.

The property financial information that you enter here feeds into the property metrics that we calculate on the Property Analytics page as well as on the dashboard. In order to have the most accurate metrics, it is therefore best to keep this information as up-to-date as possible.
