How do I update my profile? How do I set up a Business Profile?

To update your profile, select the profile icon on the top right of any page. This will open the Profile and Settings page. From there, you’ll be able to review and edit your password, and business profile.

Please note that a business profile can only be updated by workspace owners.

What is a Business Profile?:

The Business Profile is used when you want your tenants to see a different name, email address, and/or phone number to the ones that are currently associated with your Baselane profile. When setting up Rent Collection terms for a tenant, if a Business Profile is not set up, the tenant will be able to see the information that was used when your Baselane profile was initially created.

Please note: Changing the phone number on the Business profile doesn’t change the phone number for 2FA.

How to set up a Business Profile:

  • Click on your profile name to access the drop-down menu at the top-right of your profile
  • Click on the 'Workspace Settings' drop-down option
  • Select the 'Business Profile' header
  • Once you're on the Business Profile page, you will have the option to update the name, email address, and/or phone number
  • Select the blue 'Save' button to save your changes
