Why can't I transfer funds to/from an external account?

In order to transfer funds from an external account into Baselane, the bank account must be a depository account (such as a checking or savings account) and currently be connected to Baselane. Furthermore, we also require that the name matches the name on your Baselane Banking account. If you are having issues transferring from an external account into Baselane Banking, please contact support@baselane.com.

If you are unable to transfer funds to your external account, you can also manually add an external account. Please note that will not be able to pull funds from any manually added accounts, and you will not be able to see balances or import transactions into Baselane.
