How does QuickPay work?

What is QuickPay?

QuickPay allows Baselane banking account holders to receive rent payments in as little as 2 business days, providing faster access to funds and streamlining cash flow management.

Important: Rent payments deposited into an external bank account will follow the standard processing time of up to 5 business days.

By using Baselane Banking, you not only unlock faster rent payments but also gain access to:

Which payments are eligible for QuickPay?

Baselane uses several factors to determine if a tenant's payment is eligible for QuickPay, including their payment method, balance at the time of payment (if available), and payment history (they must have at least one successful payment).

 

To see if a tenant's rent payment was processed with QuickPay:

  1. Navigate to the Rent Collection tab

  2. Under the Active Lease tab, click on the tenant's lease details

  3. On the Rent Collection Details page, click the blue 'View All Invoices' button next to 'Payments'

  4. Look for invoices with a green lightning bolt icon. This icon indicates the invoice was processed with QuickPay. This applies to both 'Completed' and 'Processing' invoices.

 

 

Which of my tenants are eligible for QuickPay?

As noted above, Baselane uses a number of factors to determine if a tenant's payment is eligible for QuickPay, including their payment method, balance at time of payment (if available), and payment history (must have at least one successful payment). However, because tenants may have multiple payment methods, an eligible tenant may have specific payments that are not QuickPay eligible.

 

To see whether a tenant is eligible for QuickPay:

  1. Access the Rent Collection Tab: Navigate to this tab on your dashboard

  2. Find the Tenant: Under the 'Active Lease' section, click on the details of the tenant you're interested in

  3. Check for Eligibility: On the Rent Collection Details page, look under the 'Tenant Details'. If they're eligible, you'll see 'QuickPay Eligible' next to the tenant's name
